Brown Brothers Engineers Flow Technology Ltd is part of Brown Brothers Engineers and the AxFlow Group, the largest distributor of positive displacement pumps and related products and services in Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
The company represents world-leading manufacturers of positive displacement pumps, specialised centrifugal pumps, valves, heat exchangers, mixers, grinders, instrumentation, and adds considerable customer value by industrial know-how, and fast and reliable deliveries.
Working with New Zealand businesses since 1908
Brown Brothers Engineers has been working with NZ business since 1908 initially specialised in electrical engineering, and was one of the first suppliers of electrical power to the City of Christchurch. Diversifying into pumps in 1915 Brown Brothers Engineers were soon as successful with pumps as they had been as electrical contractors, with their products and services in demand throughout New Zealand.
Brown Brothers Engineers Ltd distribute world leading pump brands in New Zealand and also since 1994 in Australia, providing a comprehensive range of pumps and innovative pumping solutions to meet customer’s needs. Distributing small domestic pressure systems, irrigation, agriculture through to large commercial/industrial pumps and pump systems.
Over the decades, Brown Brothers Engineers NZ has grown and thrived, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience that allows us to offer world class best practice pumping solutions because we supply and support world leading pump brands.
In 2018 Brown Brothers became a member of the AxFlow group, the Fluids Handling Solutions business group within Axel Johnson International.
Announced in December 2020, SPX Flow Technology New Zealand Limited was acquired by the Brown Brothers Group, and under its new owners, was rebranded as Brown Brothers Engineers Flow Technology Limited.
